Will I get to
preview and approve the final accordion track(s) before they are sent to
me?
Yes. After we complete your session, we will upload an MP3 file for you
to preview for each song you ordered. If you accept the file(s), your final
accordion track(s) will be sent to you. If you would like the
accordionist to record a retake, one retake will be provided free of
charge. Additional retakes will be billed
$54.99 per song. Please reply with the specific changes you would
like made.

How will I
receive my MP3 sample and final accordion track(s)?
A link to a password protected section of our website will be emailed to
you upon the completion of your accordion track. Once you enter the password we provide, you will have access to a
page dedicated to your project. This page will contain all of the tracks
we have recorded for you that you have paid for, including final
accordion tracks if you choose Internet delivery when setting up your
session.

How long will
it take for my final accordion track(s) to be delivered?
There are several packages to choose from, ranging from delivery within
48 business hours (Internet only) to within 21 days. A number of factors
determine the time it takes for us to complete your project, including
the proper preparation of your reference track(s) (please view our
simple, detailed instructions here), the
complexity of your song and desired accordion performance, and - in the
event you require your track(s) on CD - the location your final tracks need to be sent (express mail is available upon request at an
additional charge).

Can I download
my final accordion track(s)?
Yes. The default delivery method is via the Internet. Because these
files can be very large (generally no smaller than 15 MB), we recommend
that you have a high-speed Internet connection, or saintly patience.

How big will my
final accordion track(s) be?
Depending on the sample rate, bit depth, and the length of
your project, a single track could approach 50 MB. If you have a slow
Internet connection, you'll need to decide whether you want to spend
hours downloading your tracks, or choose delivery by mail.
AccordionArtist.com offers
standard First Class and Express shipping options through USPS, which
you can select when completing our online session setup form.

What format
will my final accordion track(s) be in?
At your option, our accordion tracks will be recorded to WAV
or AIFF files at the sample-rate and bit depth you select when
completing our online session setup form.

Will your tracks line up with mine?
Following the directions listed here
will ensure our tracks line up with yours. We start our accordion tracks at 00:00:00.000 (time), so once you
receive our final tracks, you should simply be able to drop what we
provide into a new track in your project without the need for any
realignment.

Will you use
any samples or loops in my project?
Absolutely not. Each project we work on is custom-recorded
for you, meaning that you will have an entirely unique accordion track
for each song you order.

Do you record
your accordion in mono or stereo?
An accordion isn't like a piano with a left-to-right sound
spread. Especially when dealing with melody, which comes from
the right-hand side of the instrument, the sound is strictly vertical in
nature. Therefore, we record almost always in mono.
There are exceptions, however. If,
for instance, you have a piece where the accordionist won't be
accompanied by supporting tracks or with only sparse instrumentation, we
may then opt to record in stereo to capture the right-hand (melody) and
left-hand (bass and chords) sides of the instrument. Unless you have a
special need like this, we recommend mono accordion tracks.

How much do you
charge for retakes?
$54.99 per song. Please allow three business days for new
takes.

Can I call the
accordionist about my project?
Yes. If you have questions about your project before or after
you start it, simply email us at
to schedule a telephone meeting. We will gladly discuss your project
with you. Please note that we do not make outgoing calls, nor do we have
a toll-free number.

distribute the accordion tracks in ANY form unless they are part of
